Priscilla Wong, DACM, L.Ac.

Dr. Priscilla Wong was one of the first graduates to obtain a Doctoral degree in Chinese Medicine (DACM), is a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY). She completed over 3,500 hours of training and received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Herbology from the nationally recognized Pacific College of Health and Science, formally known as Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM).

Dr. Wong incorporates acupuncture, herbal medicine, tui na, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion, or other traditional modalities of healing necessary for individual needs. She is also certified in performing Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (FRA) procedures. She treats all conditions ranging from physical to emotional health. These include: pain, stress, gynecological, sleep, respiratory, and gastrointestinal disturbances.

Although Dr. Wong completed extensive training, the most significant influence stems from her heritage and family traditions. Her grandmother was a teacher and herbalist in Hong Kong. Naturally, her knowledge and experience permeated into the family’s lifestyle and was passed down to other generations. Home-cooked meals and soups were medicine. Growing up, Dr. Wong did not know any differently because it was her way of living.

Dr. Wong followed after her grandmother’s footsteps and became a teacher, teaching children with special needs in New York City. While she loved working with children, she felt called to work with people of all stages and ages of life and to share her grandmother’s pearls of wisdom. Thus, integrating her skills as a teacher and healer.

When not with patients, Dr. Wong spends quality time with her husband and son exploring new cafés, restaurants, museums, and Disney movies.

Brittany Mekeel L.Ac

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a fascination with how the human body works. I have a passion for helping people feel and be the best version of themselves. I developed an interest in Chinese Medicine and acupuncture working as an acupuncture assistant a number of years ago. It was my first experience receiving an acupuncture treatment as well as witnessing many others receive treatments for various ailments. I was intrigued to learn how this medicine aided in the healing process of many individuals and all for different reasons. I love the idea of being able to help so many different types of ailments, and most importantly, help them naturally.

I believe in the Chinese Medicine philosophy of getting down to the root of the problem and healing from the inside out, not just masking the issue. I treat each patient with the belief that every single person should be treated as an individual and I cater treatment protocols to their specific, individual needs.

Nothing gives me greater joy quite like hearing the words “you helped me feel better”. I love educating my patients about the various benefits of receiving acupuncture and what they can do on their own in conjunction with the treatments to help them reach their health and wellness goals. Your healthcare journey starts with you; I am just here to aid along the journey. I am passionate about learning how each individual patient’s body is functioning and utilizing Traditional Chinese Medicine to get it functioning at a balanced level. I love witnessing and being a part of a patient’s healthcare journey towards a better life.
