Maria is devoted to her family and self-care. She loves spending time in the kitchen with her children cooking and creating fun and delicious dishes. She also loves the outdoors and growing her own veggies. Her favorite outdoors activities are hiking, biking, swimming, snow tubing, and snowboarding with her children.

Education and Volunteer work

Maria completed her Massage and Bodywork Studies Program together with her Certification for Oncology Massage Therapy at the Institute for Therapeutic Massage in Morristown and Haskell, New Jersey. She was recognized for completing over 650 hours of hands-on training for Massage Therapy Program. She is also certified on Oncology Massage Therapy with 500 hours of training plus 4 months of Clinical internship experience at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey. She worked alongside doctors and nurses assisting with cancer patient's treatment as integrated medicine. She worked with cancer patients from Chemotherapy to Radiation providing comfort and relief from the treatment side effects. She also has done volunteering work for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and their funding of research to find blood cancer cures. It is about community coming together for a common goal, friends, families and co-workers to form fundraising walk teams at the Mennen arena in Morristown, New Jersey.
